Sure did James thats what they were asking and thats what i paid them.
Sure they are worth far more than $10 but at the same time i gave the 3 bags of almost new clothing that doesnt fit me any more and there would of been over $300+ worth of clothes so i didnt feel guilty
Man thats awesome, That scoring kings is great $10 gotta love it. You will start a new trend of people bothering to check out there local op shops. I like you drop gear off there all the time but never consider going in to have a look.
Nice find, although i am going to have to side with Jaames on this one.
Yes , you may have just donated heaps of clothes but those charity place survive on donations so surely even an extra $10 would not have killed the budget for the week.
Just my opinion but by accepting the "steal" that was on offer you un-did all the good work of donating clothing

Nope...disagree! Someone donated them for nothing....they got their $10. Sure the shop may not have appreciated their "true" value....but they price things based on the demographic that generally walk through the door. And as was stated they'd been sitting their for quite a while. Some people trawl op shops looking for bargains to re-sell....and often the "good stuff" is priced accordingly. There are not many shops out there where the stock is free, generally run by volunteers and the rent is (usually) discounted. They do alright...no need to feel bad for picking up a bargain i reckon!!!
/\/\ this.
and better they get $10 than have them sitting around forever. they were obviously happy to get the amount they did. if they 'needed' more they wouldve charged more. on top of which the OPer seems to donate quite alot. his karma is fine.

If the needed more? They sell cheap so people without much money have things to buy, there not there to run for profit, personally if I was buying in my position I would of given them extra knowing what they were, but each to there own. Nice cards btw!

true. i guess i didnt really mean needed. wanted is probably a better word...? my main point was that they couldnt get rid of them for $10 so if they wouldve put a more reasonable price tag on them chances are they wouldve never been moved. like you said, they cater to people who dont have much and these people arent going to spend big on some cardboard.
