Michael Jordan 97-98 SP Sign Of The Times Value

I just started collecting early SP Basketball and saw a Michael Jordan 97-98 SP Sign Of The Times (ungraded with slightly rounded top cnrs) sell for $10,100 US on ebay today. Is that price a little inflated from normal? Beckett has it at about $2000 and I could have afforded one at that price but at $10,000 im thinking I will have one card missing from that set once I complete it.

His 90s autos have been on the rise ATM, but never seen one sell at that price before! 2000-3000 I would think would be a proper price!

I have the 98/99 one and have been offered $4000+ for it on a few occasions. 10k seems a bit over the top but obviously the winning bidder really really really.....really really wanted it lol

Maybe they are rare on the second hand market and collectors are starting to notice!

Minimum value should be 5.000 USD. Fair price somewhere around 6.000 USD, leaving upside potential.
