Merging Video Files

Hey guys
I'm not a computer genius and I dont have the most extensive knowledge on how to work programs etc, etc... So i come here to find the answer :v:
I was wondering, say i download to seperate media files.
for example:

scrubs part 1 90mb
scrubs part 2 80mb

how would i go about getting them be one single file and work on all video programs. And what is the best program to get this done in the easiest way possible

any help would be topps!

what type of files are they (avi, mpg, wmv etc)?

i use a program call ezmerge, only used it a couple of times and no probs, google will help, try searching for avi joiner.

I've used virtualdub in the past to do this, which is pretty good if you know what your doing.

You can try and join these 2 files within virtualdub by selecting the "direct Stream copy" option for both video and audio" then appending 2nd avi file to the first.

This will only work if both files have been encoded with the same details. Otherwise you would have to do the append and re-compress both files.
