Have to agree with you there (although the fact I have it going for close to a $1000 in the Caulfield/Melbourne Cup double) may be influencing my thinking.

Have already taken some savers and may take a few more over the next couple of days

i will be checking out the form guide in tomorrows paper, but my thoughts right now would be the 2 Japenese horses Pop Rock and Delta Blues.

i also like Railings and Zipping, although Zipping drew barrier 20, but in a 2 mile race the barrier you jump from shouldn't matter a great deal!!

Based on its run in the Caulfield Cup where it sat 3 wide Delta Blues should be close to equal favourite. The reason it isn't is because they decided to replace a local jockey with a Japanese Jockey. No disrespect to the jockey but racing in Oz is different to overseas.
There was an article by Lee Freedman a few weeks ago were he said he ignores any horse that has a jockey that has not ridden at Flemington before.

I do like Pock Rock with Damien aboard, may take as a saver
