Meeting AFL Card Collectors in Melbourne

Good afternoon all.

I have had this on my mind for a while, and as some people might know me from the site, I collect modern AFL cards.

I am looking at starting or joining a group of like minded collectors in meeting and or one on one card swapping.. in Melbourne.

I ideally like to communicate and mix with other AFL card collectors that might live close by.

Is anyone doing this outside the WEB? or is anyone interested in something like this?

Look forward to people's thoughts and opinions.

I think this site is great for daily updates etc... but in my opinion lacks the one on one contact in our hobby.

Best place to start would be the card shows at Sandown or Malvern Town Hall...quite a few members from this site go to these events...you just need to communicate with a few and co-ordinate a time to meet etc.

Yeah, have been meeting a few at the shows... Been to both Sandown's this year and the Malvern one earlier..

Looking forward to Malvern Show 2nd August.
