McGrath Foundation Auction.....some sweet stuff here.

I reckon the Hat signed by the Channel Nine commentators would be an amazing pick-up - six Test Captains, a 300-wicket taker, a 395-dismissal wicket-keeper......and Mark Nicholas

The paintings are...um......interesting

New items added today, I am amazed at the low number of bids so far - Pat Cummins' shirt in particular.

I think, for "non Australia" value, the Virender Sehwag baggy pink could end up being an absolute steal in the end.

Woo hoo! :) I just won this on the auction - Peter Siddle's match-worn and signed shirt from day 3 of the Johannesburg Test vs South Africa. My first ever bit of signed cricket apparel! Happy viewing, will do a proper mailday when it arrives.

Great score Matty, well played!! Can I ask how much you snared it for?

Look forward to seeing some clearer pics!

I had a few stabs at the Siddle shirt myself - but obviously didn't go high enough. In the end, all I managed out of the entire auction was to help raise the prices on a few of the shirts .... oh well, such is life!

Congrats Matt!!

Thanks for the comments guys :D

It cost $529 in total (there was no buyers premium, GST etc). I think I have to add $21 or something for postage, so you could basically say $550.

Some of the shirts went for mega bucks, one of Michael Clarke's was over $3,000.

I had a close look at all of the shirts (that I thought I could target) to make sure that the signature was clean and dark enough to read properly. I think Grays did a great job with the pictures, was really easy to see the condition of the signatures.
