MA EPL 14/15 cards onsale now in newsagents, 7 Eleven (excl VIC) and from 17/11 in selected Woolworths Petrol stations - $1.99 per packet of 5.

UEFA Champions League 14/15 Adrenalyn cards & starter packs onsale now also in newsagents.
$2.95 per packet of 6 / Starter Packs with3 packets, game board and checklist are $9.95

Both game card style releases look nice.

Bit of a general statement there Les. What suburb/postcode are you looking? See lists attached.
If your suburb isn't on their ask your retailer to order more in from Network Services, otherwise let me know.
The print runs on these products are limitless, they don't go everywhere. They go where they historically sell the greatest.

Loganholme, QLD Newsagent don't have the UEFA Champions League Adrenalyn Cards. They had them, but immediately returned them. They will only order more in if you commit to buy.

UEFA Champions League Adrenalyn Cards
I've been to a lot of the newsagents on your list now. They are some of the most out of the way newsagents I've ever been to. It's hard to believe what you say that historically these are the places they sell the most. I can only assume by that statement that these are the wealthier suburbs? I guess that's why you didn't find anyone in my area?

Match Attax 14/15
I've seen the starter binders and tins in newsagents this week. However every binder seems to come with the same limited edition (Fabregas - Gold) is that the case? Also the price for both seems a bit high. $10 for binder (you only get 5 cards) & $20 for tin (50 cards)

Thanks for the feedback.

Re UEFA - Distribution is profiled off historical sales, it is as simple as that. Newsagents have the right to early return stock that they don't want nor do they think they can sell. This can be a little short sighted on their part and doesn't give consumers the opportunity to purchase, particularly in some of the areas you would believe they should.

Re Match Attax Starter - I'll check with the supplier re limited edition card.

Re Prices - I believe both to be appropriately priced compared to similar products, with no recent increases to those prices over the last 4 years.
Something else to consider is that all products are produced in Europe by Topps. They are then purchased by the wholesaler & sea-freighted to Australia (all at the wholesalers cost), then distributed to the market by a 3rd party distribution agent. (another cost here). Newsagents/Petrol stores then need to make appropriate margin on the product. So there are various parties that need to get their cut and make some money out of offering this product to the consumer. Each product distributed has all those costings considered, plus what the competition may be doing in Australia before setting the RRP's.

The Fabregas Gold LE is the only LE you will find in Starter Packs. This is info from the UK, however I believe all Limited Editions can also be found in normal packs.

I would have expected the Adrenalyn XL cards to have been sold in the same newsagents that sold the Adrenalyn XL Brasil World Cup. There were at least two newsagents in Brisbane (CBD) that sold the World Cup but neither have the Champions League. In fact no newsagents actually in Brisbane have them.

I can only reiterate that those newsagents may have early returned all of their stock of UEFA. World Cup is a different beast to that of UEFA in terms of appeal. I share your frustrations. Can I send you a few packets in the mail, we can then go from there if you wish to purchase more ? Plenty of Cricket Attax & Rugby League cards in my local newsagent, but they sware they can't get Match Attax and they just tried to fob me off with comments like we don't sell any football magazines so wouldn't be able to sell cards. Can pm Managers name, location and distributors phone number if you like?

Hi mate its effectively a sellout. It has performed so far above expectation this year with massive growth. Certainly pass on details of the newsagent and i will see what i can scrounge up. FYI topps premier club out 6/4 and match attax extra out 9/4 to help fill void.

I coach a kids football team. At training last week I gave them each a World Cup Trading Card, so you might get some more swappers in the future. There is no culture of trading football cards in Queensland so I'm trying to create one
