*BIG ANNOUNCEMENT*

I wanted this 'event' to become something BIG, and something that we would all be able to enjoy and continue to do on a regular basis, I am thinking twice a year, so I decided to try and make it more worthwhile for people to get involved.

I initially offered to put up some cards of my own as prizes for the event, and distribute them over a few categories:

Best pull of the day
Worst break of the day
Best post of the day

However, things have changed a little................ for the better!

I managed to get in touch with none other than the man himself - Tracy Hackler - who has VERY KINDLY agreed to donate some sealed boxes of Panini cards to the event, as a way of showing that Panini do support the collector!! I haven't yet heard as to what the boxes will be, but I did mention that there are NBA, NFL and NHL collectors in the mix, so hopefully there is a bit of a variety in there!

Along with the very generous offer from Brett (Mr Paparazzi) to discount the cost of purchases made from him for this event, we are in a pretty good position to make this a big event and have some great cards busted, along with some awesome prizes to give away!

So, the new prize format will be:

Best Pull of the day
Worst break of the day
Best post of the day

There will also be 2 random draws on the day, or after the day.

The first draw will be for everyone who either follows Panini on Twitter - @PaniniAmerica

OR 'likes' Panini America's facebook page -
www.facebook.com/ThePaniniAmerica

OR Subscribes to their blog -
www.paniniamerica.wordpress.com

This way we can try to help out Panini for helping us out!

The second draw will be a random for anyone who makes a purchase of a Panini product from Brett (Mr Paparazzi) for the event. Brett has kindly offered to take $10 off the price of any purchase that is ordered and paid before the event, so he can make a bulk order in time for the 27th Jan.

So all up, there are 5 ways in which you can win yourself a GOOD prize, just for participating in the event!

Adam, this is an awesome idea, and great work on arranging the additional prizes. Count me in for sure, at this stage I will guarantee 1 NBA Box, though I will attempt to make it 2 boxes, will see how the funds situation looks after XMas. As you know, kids arent cheap at this time of year, especially when there are 3 of them.
