WOO!, another marvel person!
Hey bud, yeh you can probs pickup base sets at $20-40 something each on ebay. I recently finished my 1994 MU series 5 set; had heaps as a kid, and picked up the bits and piece's from two guys in Sydney. One of them was this bloke, he has the cheapest base singles in Sydney; View Profile: DK Trading Cards - OzCardTrader.com.au
I have 120 single base cards if you want. Also 1 spare red hologram from the states if your interested.
Anyways, good to see more marvel collecters around! I only joined recently too.
Hopefully some dealers on here have full sets for you! Maybe Jen (tangent), but gota pm her.

haha.. my marvel collection.. is hmmm, only small atm I think. Ive almost done my MU series 5 .. working on getting gold and silver holoblasts; and more red holograms; also the promo's. Done my 93, and 94 marvel masterpieces; just getting a few signature cards for the 94 set. Half of the 92 MM set, got the base of 95 mm, and 1 subset done.. still have to get the mirage cards and the holoflash.. OMG!, they are so expensive now.. T_T
Hmm, heroes and villains, almost finished, just need case toppers and promo's. Dangerous diva's complete. X-men Archives almost done.
I was working on some spiderman sets too; amazing spiderman 1994 - need 3 more gold webs, and promo's. Fleer Ultra spiderman- need promo's. Fleer ultra X-men 96 need signature set..
And hmm, I think that's it atm lol!
Only started about 3-4 months ago. Been pretty fun getting lots of bits and piece's.. but it's so annoying finding out that American Jumbo and wal-mart packs had exclusive cards... So many cards are hard to get in Australia.. all the good stuff is overseas. Anyways, pm me if you ever have questions about sets or want to talk MARVEL!!! (heart marvel over dc haha), If i see the MU 4, 5 going cheap somewhere i'll pm. =]
