Decided to get one of these boxes for fun, and was impressed. Even though there are only 20 packs per box - I love how you get a hit out of every pack.
No green PMG - but given there is about a 95% chance of not scoring one in any given box - this wasn't surprising or disappointing. I completed the base set, and overall I think I did well with the insert hit rate.

Here's what I scored from the more common inserts:
4 x Fleer Retro stickers (1:5 packs)
5 x 1994 Fleer Ultra X-men (1:5 packs)
7 x Fleer Marvel Metal (7:20 packs)
1 x 1994 Marvel Universe V Power Blast Design (1:10 packs)
3 x 1990 Impel Marvel Universe Design (1:12 packs)
3 x 1991 Impel Marvel Universe II Design (1:15 packs)

Scans of the bigger scores:

1) Base Parallel Signature cards (1:10 packs) Left to Right artists Steve Epting (my second autograph pull of his), Mike Bagley, and Olivier Coipel.

2) 1992 Impel Marvel Universe III Design (1:20 packs) #7 Iron Man and #4 Dead Pool

3) PMG's! : Domino (28/100), and Spider-man (28/50)

4) Base parallel sketch card (1:20 packs) #14 Ghost Rider (unsigned by artist - any ideas?)

5) Quickstrike (1:40 packs) #21 of 21QS Quicksilver

6) Fleer Ultra Stars (1:40 packs) #6 Mr. Fantastic

7) And the score of the box... Autographed 1990 Impel Marvel Universe Design(1:576 packs! ) #8 Hawkeye signed by artist Paul Renaud

Funny how this signature is much rarer than a sketch and a Jambalaya combined - yet is almost certainly worth much less than either lol.

**Finally, not to forget the six packets of cards that OZCT members Mr. and Mrs. Trading Cards generously threw in for free - 2 x MGB, 2 x SWG7, and 2 x DC Superman

From Marvel's Greatest Battles: no hits but great to see what this set is like

From Star Wars Galaxy 7: 1 x Silver Foil (1:3 packs), and 1x Etched Foil Puzzle (1:6 packs)

From DC Superman The Legend: Not one, but two X-ray Vision cards (1:24 packs ) I would put up a scan of these but you need your x-ray vision to see them (aka a heat source)

Anyway, loved the Fleer Retro set, can't decide whether to go all out now and start collecting it seriously.

Nice break. It's a shame (and nice if you are going for the set like me!) how cheap the base parallel signature cards sell for.

Don't get me wrong - I think it's a good thing the base parallel autos go for good prices, as I know how many of us are trying to complete them.
All I meant is it's funny how the long odds of this particular card don't reflect back on its probable value. As in, at 1:576 packs (according to the JA website) it's probably worth not much more than a base auto (1:10 packs). The Impel MU III Design autos, at a staggering 1:960 packs, probably have the same low-value issue too.
Which is fine, I personally don't collect cards to re-sell them, just noting

Yeah the odds on some of the pulls are staggering especially for a high dollar box. I am slowly putting together the base auto set myself and have everyone I have picked up so far as been for under $5!

Nice one man. It would be a very cool parallel set to have, I'll probably start chasing it myself

I got an autographed 1991 Marvel Universe Design auto #4 - Cyclops which is a 1:720 pack pull from a friendly box break. I was offered 6 bucks for it which I declined. I do have a spare base auto if anyone needs it.

$6? Jeez! That is a one in 36 box pull!

Nice box, that sketch is pretty cool, just wish these artists would sign their stuff !

Certainly would like to go another box myself it was fun break, but at the price they are right now, they do seem a bit hit and miss..

We broke a case of this and we loved it, the base sketch was a great idea we are nearly finished getting the whole set of them

I like the idea of having base sketches and then rarer, harder to find non-base sketches for more releases. I am guessing the additional cost of making more different sketch card blanks is what stops this happening more often.

awesome break mate love the ghost rider sketch although no auto is wtf?

Also that hawkeye auto is awesome! nice odd pull there, and the spiderman blue!! PMG's seem to be the biggest turnover/dollar value in this set still, I've been checking eBay every couple weeks to see if I can pickup any on the cheap, most the reds you can get if you are lucky for around $25ish each.

Yeah the PMG and the Jambalaya's are picking up a pretty penny, I was able to move my jambalaya pretty quickly and for a nice sum... Makes me think another box is worth a go...maybe for chrissie..LOL

You might try posting the Rider up on Scoundrel for the artist ID, they're a pretty helpful bunch over there....

Yeah it was a lot of fun!
Good idea about checking out Scoundrel Ram.

I actually just discovered that the odds for this set as stated on Jeff Allender's website - which I used for writing up this break - are actually very different from what is stated on the box...
Trusting Fleer has its own odds right - it does make you wonder whether other JA odds that are not printed on the Fleer packs (like 1:576!!) might be off as well? Just wondering.

Good luck with your break Dave
