Alright I have i have just gotten home after watching the Swans defeat Collingwood and will now be in Melbourne next week for the Grand Final.

Always read about the markets that you Melbourne people go to so where exactly are they, which is the best one and how does one get there by train from Melbourne.

Also what time are they open

Carribean gardens - on ferntree gully rd / stud rd, accessible from the monash freeway or east link
Dandy market - across the rd from Dandy plaza, easy to get to from the princess hwy

Carribean on Sunday and dandy on sat.

Best bet would be Dandenong market, either Friday or Saturday, closest from train station. Only a 5-10 minute walk.
Very easy too find, just go up the main steps, second row of stalls in, row G i think? Turn left and about 4 stalls down.
Pretty sure he's open from around 7:30 or 8am.

There's also South Melbourne market. There is one stall there thats card related but the actual market is pretty good.

yep. That is where I get my food supplies from. like bread, meat, seafood and vag.

Thnaks for all the help guys. Looks like it will either be Dandenong on the Friday either before or after the Grand Final Parade or Carribean on the Sunday.
