hey guys,

last month or so i've been trying to transform my office at home, make it a bit better so i can nerd out in there when i'm on r and r. painted the walls and put up some shelves to display some of my shoe collection. so far i've got some old skate shoes and jordans 1 - 8.

next step is to get a few jerseys framed and try and turn the built in wardrobe into a full display cabinet and somewhere to display and store the card collection.

Man the shoe display looks bloody awesome, not so sure about the skateboard.. but the shoe display is fricking awesome!!!

Nothing particularly, I'm just not into skating. It's not a criticism

edit: clearly I'm not into skateboarding, I referred to it as skating by mistake

thanks for the replies guys. the missus is cool with it, she loves bball and is gettin psyched on cards now ever since i let her open some packs haha.

the shelves are from ikea and the downlights are just cheap battery powered l.e.d ones from bunnings. i didn't really wanna pay a fortune to get the shelves wired up when i don't really have the lights on much.

thanks supercharged collection for the heads up, i didn't even realise until then that they were back to front. nah haven't worn any, only tried them on the carpet. haha

That looks sensational!! The dark wall & shelves really make the kicks pop and the light just adds to the whole thing. Are those the retro cards that you have up behide each of the shoes??

Very nice!! Now if only I was able to display my Jordan kick collection somewhere in the house.... Much rather that then pulling them out every other week just to llok at the ones I don't wear!!
