Major Pm Problem - Mods help

Of recent i have been busy and not keeping track of pm's so i have been thinking i am being forgetful but today i finally realised its not me.
I have asked Bennyj for his bank account twice and now when i went to pay him the PM is not there (1000% sure i didnt delete it), this is not the first time this has happened , has this happened to anyone else

I haven't had any problems myself and have had my PM box up to nearly 1000 PM's lately. There is also an email an ozcards member function you can use on the profile page of the person you want to communicate with. Give that a try and see if thats more reliable for you but i'm not aware of any other problems.

Yeah I dont know what the problem is, I was PM'ing ace e last night, and as it hasnt happened to any others its a bit difficult to put the finger on it. The system does not delete any posts/messages automatically, so it would require human intervention somewhere along the track!

ps I upped the PM limit for everyone last night - 1000 for everyone.

Admins have a higher limit - i've already had to increase it because of the whining about your lack of knowledge.

I've probably got 50 in Inbox & 50-60 in Sent.

I think i have worked out why i lose pm's - mods correct me if i am wrong. When a pm is deleted does it delete other sent/received pm's related to it?

when a PM is deleted in certain directory, that will only delete what's in the directory.. like if u delete all ur PM in inbox, ur sent messages will still be the same.. so, u gotta switch to sent messages and delete the ones u don't need... same goes to other directories.

Another thing is, if u just chat or message for social call or fun, do not save messages... that will just add up more sent messages..

and after taking a break from forum about 1 week when all ur deals are done, u can delete all... and start a brand new mailbox, hope that helps

before we had our pm's increased, i was deleting pm's which were the start of the convo and just keeping the last pm. The problem was that when i logged in again the pm's that i kept were gone.

hmm, at first i thought i was going senile but when benny j sent me his bank details twice and they disappeared twice i finally knew it wasnt me. The thing is now that when i look in my inbox i still think i am missing some messages, i think i might start dumping my inbox and sent box into my c drive and keep it clear.

To me it sounds like someone may very well be using your account there's no other way they can dissapear. Are you sure someone you live with or someone who may use a computer that you view ozcards on is messing with your account?
