Major EBAY RIP OFF - several members conned

OK guys.. I have started this thread as I have noticed that Iversonsars and Kuvenile were ripped off by this seller. I will now add my name to the list.

My problem was that I checked this guy out and he was a Ebay powerseller with 100% feedback.

As soon as I bought two boxes from him - he changed his feedback to private as he has gotten 27 negs in like a few days after I paid for my stuff.

Now there has been absolutely no contact from him and I am trying to get my money back.

Sorry no links from me guys but Iversonsars has a couple that he (hopefully) might add to this thread.

Any ideas of how we can get our money back if there is no cash in his paypal account?

Any others have problems with this seller?

how did you pay cliffy??? if it was via paypal you need to atleast make a claim to get your money back, that will atleast get the ball rolling

have you requested his personal details from ebay? Try that but my guess is that his numer is incorrect!

one eBayer from states deleted his account after accepted paypal from me.
i filed a claimed, get refunded almost all, but eBay commissioned a few %. so, i am pretty sure u can get ur money back if the transaction has been logged..

it's actually eBay's fault to let these people ruin, so it's totally okay for them to refund your money back, just file the claim, however, u may need to wait a bit in order to file the claim.

hi mate yep my story is the same after paying went to private since then i have contacted ebay support and paypal support waiting on both ends now also made a paypal complaint too which he has like 2 more days to reply otherwise 10 day to reply period is over and its automatic a refund but only problem i wish he has the money in his paypal account otherwise pretty useless.
Also ive gotten his contact info but no answer when i rand 3 times also let a guy i trade with from NY ring for me said no answer as well..........
ill be calling paypal as soon as the 10 days is over as i have there contact number for Australia and see what the f**k is happening with my money!!!!!!
Ill keep u guys posted on my end result.

I lodged a dispute this morning and something strange happened. Paypal automatically stated that the other party is not able to respond to the dispute so I lodged a claim. Paypal immediately says something weird like this they are temporarily unable to determine my case. WTF?? Something very strange is going on indeed! Kuvenile - hope it all goes well for you
This whole thing is a bit weird... comments?

For various reasons it was just much much much much easier to get a paypal account through my Australian bank account not my kiwi account.
I got rid of my Aussie credit cards ages ago!

Serves me right for cutting corners!

in that case mate, you will need to keep hounding paypal...............paypal is now your only option to get your money back

I had $0 n my Paypal once and some dork filed a complaint while I was on my wedding day. I sent his stuff via registered post and he claimed he never got them.

My Paypal had negative balance after that as he got a refund.

So yes, you should be able to get your money back.

Ah yeah.. filed a claim last week. Paypal is still investigating Kuvenile should be more advanced into his claim so.... mate what is the latest with you?

Well its been the 10 day period where he had his time to reply and he never did so its gone into investigation but should come out to my side as he didnt reply and when u dont within the time frame its automatic to my side but i dont see why they need to investigate it when its says ur claim will be granted if no reply well there was none WTF are they waiting for man this is taking its time i want my money back so i can buy some J.Rs LOL;-)
Anyway as soon as its changes ill post up and keeps use informed
