Bored and have had cards come in recently - too many to do in one mailday so here are a few of the patches and PC cards....

Kicking things off with a few nice patches.......

Some old school flavour - the one and only Bowman 48s!

Captain Bob Feerick - was known as Mister Perfection, made all association first team two years running and was the first ever ironman who played numerous 48 minutes games!
IMG_00054.jpg

Ralph Hamilton - one of the first ever Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons!
IMG_00044.jpg

John Logan - Played for the St Louis Bombers and cracked the All-Star 2nd Team (whatever that means!) Look at the card condition too - schmick! (with ordinary centering though)
IMG_00064.jpg

Ephraim 'Red' Rocha - One of the early 'giants' of the BAA, Red measured in at a whopping 6'9' - heh heh Again, schmick condition with bad centering...

Got Mash?

Sure do!

A few IP autos - picked them up cheap and 98% sure they're legit based on my self proclaimed Mashburn signature expertise. Might try authentication but not really worth it...

...and perhaps one of my favourite Mash autos. It's 3267 out of 9500 but on card in gold sharpie from Classics Draft Gold Edition.
IMG_00142-3.jpg

...which goes nicely with this! Chris Webber auto from the same limited edition release with matching serial number of 3267/9500. haven't seen too many C-Webb autos around so glad to have this one in my hot little hands! C'mon who's old enough to remember the Michigan Fab Five?!

Bird is the Word!
Ultimate Shout Out #31/35 Good to see, he got the whole sig on the sticker, he's a bit notorious for not colouring inbetween the lines!
IMG_0016-6.jpg

...and last but by no means least:

Topps Treasury Bird's All Rookie Team w/ Brandon Rush

...hand serialled /39!

Which goes well with these, also all hand serialled out of 39! Let me know if you know anyone who has any I need! One of the Bayless' is trade bait!

Thanks for looking folks, comments always appreciated and keep an eye out for next mailday or two - because it won't disappoint!

Awesome cards mate. Love the old school bowmans and that Mullins patch is bananas! Great work.

Great cards, you certainly got the BJ Mullens card at the right time. Sitting on the bench as the 4th or 5th centre, and then a trade to a new team and he is a starter.

Logan's run was very important to the St Louis Bombers.

The Bird cards are super, but I hope the other players all thought they didn't belong on the same card. There wasn't a Celtics draftee for that set, J.R. Giddens was picked that year at the end of the first round.

You are a bit like Larry Bird, he wanted to trade Bayless too. Although he only had the one, and he went to Portland in the trade which included McRoberts to Indiana.

Just figured out how to multi-quote reply - happy days!

Damn that Mullens is sick!
Mmmmm, yes I'd have to agree with you on that Jack!

Some quality Pickups Congrats
Thanks Esko - nice to add some quality to the quantity for a change!

Love the Sweet Patches, Inserts and Auto's especially the Larry Bird Dual Autos!
Um, anything you don't like Harsha? lol ;-) Oh yes, apparently not keen on the Bowman 48s! Basketball card collecting folklore right there buddy!

Sweet Bowman's. They don't look to be in too bad a shape for 60 year pieces of cardboard. You thinking of getting them graded?
If anything the last two cards might be grade worthy, compared to some other graded Bowman 48s I have I reckon they'd be 4 to 5....coudl add some value because graded Bowmans with a semi decent grade go for a lot! The first two look respectable from the front but there's significant damage on the back of the card as it looks like they were stuck together and were forced apart - worst part is the seller didn't even mention it! Got them for a good price though so not really complaining!

Nice pickups diggin the birds
I'm sure the birds dig you too mate! heh heh

great pickups, the birds are looking good together.
Birds of a feather flock together! Kind of like high school where all the good looking chicks would hang out with each other and shun the meagre offerings like GU cards.... hah hah

Sick bowman's!!!! The BJ patch is a ripper!
Gonna pick up a few Bowmans - when I was a kid I remember always seeing the Bowmans first in Beckett and thought to myself they'd be pretty cool to own one day!

Awesome cards mate. Love the old school bowmans and that Mullins patch is bananas! Great work.
With the Bowmans it's actually quite a fun time warp because just reading the back of cards take you straight back into the 1940s!

Oh snap!
Just killed it again, im not going to try any more lol
Got one more mailday in me from backlogged cards still to come - then I'm gonna drop a COMC bomb on you which will end all mailday wars! lol

Sweet patches mate, well done :D
Well, sweet patch, the other two aren't overly impressive but did used to like Vinsanity taking to the skies back in the day!

Bird was one of the big supporters to get Rush to Indiana....massive supporter of Hansbrough too so maybe he has a soft spot for unathletic, white boys at PF. Might be easier if he just tried to clone himself! heh heh

They do well graded as opposed to ungraded even if its a relatively low grade (4 & 5).

Here's a 5.5 Logan for you to compare again your ungraded one...

some sexy birds there :woot:
Let's hope they attract some more sexy Birds! hah

There weren't any Sweet Kidd's in there;)
At least you didn't mention the phrase 'wickedly sweet' this time!

That one looks to be in better nick than my last two with much better centering - but like you said having them graded could be well worthwhile anyway....
