Mailday - Multiple Graded Cards (Pic Heavy)

Just curious to get a read on whether people feel my latest Mailday (was overseas for the past 6 weeks -so mail day was a saturday) collection was worthy of the price paid? picked up the lot for $40 + $25 p&h.

Mail day also provided me with three Boxes of threads / box of Prizm / few packs of 07/08 Fleer (pulled a Danny Ainge 87 buyback card - as a celtics fan, bit of luck there) / Pack of 12/13 Panini Absolute (Mourning Private signing), Box Hoops 11/12 (Josh Smith Auto) and two lucky packs from Japan - One containing a KG GU!

Love higher graded older cards...you can't go wrong....I think your did extremely well....

Grading and RCs aren't my cup of tea but a lot depends on the grading company - there will always be a market for gem mint rookie cards of big name players so at that price did okay I guess.

High grades, plenty of people want graded rookie cards, if you paid on average $3.42 per card it should be upside with little potential downside. It probably costs more to send the card to be graded than that value.

The Pierce is one of 164 of 637 graded by PSA as a 10. There are lots of those LeBron redemption cards but maybe not many around with that picture on the front, you may be able to sell that for a third or half of what you paid for everything here, if it is rarer than some of the other LeBron redemption cards.

Can you post a picture of the Ainge card, that sounds interesting, it was a card that came with a certificate or some sort of added holograms or things?

Couldn't get a pic of my card, my camera is busted, but the card came in the pack in a small bag within the pack with another card saying congratulations this card was previously released and is being re-released for your collecting pleasure - card is exactly as pictured here (obviously not in a graded shell) but with no other distinctive watermarks / holograms.

The pack was bought with the change from my pocket prior to leaving Tokyo, Tokyo actually blew me away in terms of the amounts of sports collectable stores and amazing prices, love a strong oz dollar!

I like the Nash RC.

My problem is with BCCG as their grading is a very poor cousin of BCG or PSA, so usually I would take at least 1-2 off their grade. As for the others, I don't really trust any others apart from BCG, PSA or the other one (forgot the name ).

WOW that was a steal at that price
