This could be an interesting story...
...but it's not really.
Since I'm done with cards I have a new hobby (sort of). You may recall my previous thread revealing my Butler and Sefolosha game-worn jerseys. Well, I have now doubled my collection of gamers...
First up, the cheapest one that I didn't really intend to win but I don't mind having:
(had 19pts, 7reb against Dwight Howard and the Magic)
Then a nice-looking jersey of an All-Star (who is either surprisingly fat or just likes it a bit baggy...):
I watched the first two televised games (over here) of this season and in the second one I wasn't particularly supportive of this player, thinking that he should be coming off the bench, and he didn't have a great game, but this is a pretty historical jersey to me.
The debut jersey:
And then this one that I didn't think looked that nice, until I got it in person. Man, it's a beauty.
A 27-point, 5-reb, 3-ast game helping send the Lakers to their second straight loss to start the season:
Two of these jerseys touched Kobe, one touched Dwight and the other touched some Nets for a few minutes in a blowout...
So I have the Clippers debut jersey for Butler and the Bulls debut jersey for Hamilton, plus jerseys of All-Star and high-scoring players. I'm pretty happy.
Plus a massive thank you to Rob for babysitting these for me. We tried to save on shipping/taxes by having them sent to him. Didn't really work out that well, but he was very helpful and trustworthy with these.
