Just wondering if anyone has lost cards purchased from ebay and sent to COMC. I had 4 items successfully sent to COMC, but lost 1. The seller provided tracking and it was supposedly delivered on the 11 Sept
I have contacted COMC several times and they have informed me that they have not received it.
What options do I have from here... any thoughts?
Man, this is a hard situation if nobody wants to help you. If you have tracking that confirms delivery, I think COMC should be a little more helpful. That is not to say they are to blame but they could at least be a little more thorough.
Hope someone on here has a good suggestion for you.
I had a little issue a while back, where tracking said they received it but I did not get the confirmation photo of it. I went backwards and forwards with them in emails for a while before taking a screen grab of the signatory proof that they had it, to which they eventually confirmed that they did. I still never got the photo of it tho they just stopped replying to me emails so had to wait till I processed it to get to see its quality which was a bit risky.
Yup, Ive lost one.. Tracking said delivered. COMC tell me it must have been an error or delivered to wrong addy and that was the explanation (couldnt possibly be COMC's error pretty much was the vibe of the reply).... Just had my mailbox processed so definitely wasnt in there.... what are you going to do tho.... just have to suck it up
Man this sucks I just started using this service for more of the cheaply card lots I get but now am getting worried that if COMC lose it and its there fault they don't take the blame.
I think they should have thought this through before making this service available as its pretty crappy that they don't insure u or nothing even though tracking will show delivery and all!
Ive had one hiccup and in my case it was the sellers fault
The package was delivered but the seller forgot to put the c/o part, but COMC did mail the seller to say they received the package without the username on it
Maybe contact the seller to see if they got the whole address correct?
COMC said they checked the ALL photos taken that day and couldn't find it and I absolutely believe it. This leads me to think it was lost between delivery and photos (which seems to be a cpl of days). I dont want reimbursement or anything, mistakes happen... I just hope they keep an eye on this and fix any part of their process that may result in lost cards.... It was a V Brown patch auto that I needed too (PC guy)... oh well
If any one finds this card in their malibox, please let me know.... Thanks
As someone who is new to comc this is making me rethink my use. Def a grey area that makes me nervous. Has anyone had an experience where they have admitted a mistake? This would make me feel better.
Yeah they admitted a mistake in my case as listed above. COMC are great to deal with. Despite a single hiccup with them I've had over 100 items get sent there and that's the only thing that wasn't perfect happen.
Yeah its a great service so I can't complain at all, even if there are hiccups
It only costs 50c an item and you get a picture to look at the condition of the card. Its either COMC, or go with Borderlinx where you still run the risk of having a package go missing or your cards damaged, but the cost will still be much more
I just had this happen to me, card showed as delivered on eBay last week, but I got no email from ComC,
I emailed ComC on the weekend, gave them the delivery conformation and card details. They looked into it, and this morning I got the email for the card submission, the package did not have C/O on it, even though the seller said it did
COMC has already check if my card was kept with those that do not have a C/O. Unfortunately not luck.
They said that they will go through the cards received around the delivered date specified by tracking.
Woohoo.... they eventually found my BGS 9.2 2010 Absolute Memorabilia B.Griffin Auto Jsy.
The "4" in my account name was mistaken as an "A" and put into a different mailbox ... haha.
Simple mistake considering the amount of packages that they would receive each day.
Just glad my card has been found. Besides the odd mishaps, they do a terrific job
