Well I finished my exams yesterday

To celebrate my hard studying for the year I purchased a couple of boxes from the bay.

Anyways, woke up and had the urge to bust some wax so went down to the only store in brizzy that sells packs and picked up 2 loose packs of 04-05 Finest.

I'm pretty sure no one is here but hey, this is for my enjoyment and reward.

$14 a pack and I get nothing. Thats steep. Lets go back to the days when packs were 2 dollars each.

Man that was awful. I guess I might have to go back and buy more packs

hahahha. I know that. I just had an urge to buy a couple of packs.

These finest cards aren't bad. I thought they looked outdated from the pictures on ebay but they are a really nice design. I might get a box from ebay if I can save up some money.

You get 1 draft pick redemption per minibox

ie. 1:6

The reason you buy boxes/miniboxes for Finest is that you get 1 GU/AU per minibox.

The shop selling the packs must have opened a minibox and found the GU/AU pack and sold the rest.

How come you say they found and sold the GU/AU packs. And also beat the odds with 1 Redemption per pack

Well the odds. You get packs in a mini with an auto or gu in each. You got two packs and no auto/gu. Someone has opened a mini and they pulled it. They therefore knew the other packs had nothing in them.

I spose you could have gotten something nice like a gold refractor etc, but Chad's right, if the Auto or GU has been pulled, why not rip the others off to make back some $$.

Of course, there could have been an Auto and GU in the 1 mini, and they only got 1 flavour....?

OR... they could have just sold all the packs.?

So let me get this straight.

You get 3 packs per mini box. 1 auto or GU and 2 packs with nothing.

I just went into the store and said could I have 2 packs of finest. They then opened this drawer at the counter and pulled out 2 packs. I didn't see what they pulled or from a box or anything.

Very simple lesson to be learnt.

DON'T under any circumstances by loose packets from anyone.

Assume that the boxes have been searched and you'll end up with the shit that's left over.

If you pay these pricks $14 per pack, you're keeping them in business so that they continue to rip other people off. Take a stand against them and resist the urge. You're far better off saving your money and buying a sealed box - any sealed box!

Factory sealed means untampered and unsearched. At least you have a chance of winning the small prize in Tattslotto if you buy a sealed box.
