Looking for info and/or advice on stamp collecting

Hi All,

I have recently been given a heap of stamps and i know absolutely nothing about them. Just wondering if anyone on here collects stamps? or knows any good forums like ozcard but for stamp collecting or any other info or other helpful websites to gain a bit more knowledge on what i have.

I've added a few photos from one album, hopefully they are decent enough to perhaps identify some of them. A lot of older looking stamps.

Any help is appreciated.

Take them to a show and get someone to have a look, try the Newcastle show this weekend, may be someone..
I know in Petersham (Sydney) there is a stamp show every couple/few months, will track down who hosts it and see if they do any others...
If your stamps are not worth much, I would be keen to purchase to give to my nephews, as they have started collecting stamps....

I used to be a bit of a stamp collector about 10 years ago - I don't see anything worth much there unfortunately
Basically you would need something from before WWII in good condition to be thinking about the $$$ !
If all those pics are from one album i'd guess at about $20-40 worth for that one!

Best to get it checked by an expert though because you never know, there may be something good hidden in there!

I wont be but Owen will be there, I will be at the Penrith show...
