Look out for undersized Elite

I scored a J.King PP today & didn't notice anything unusual at first but when sorting with my others having just purchased a folder I pushed all the cards together as you do & something was amiss. Upon future inspection the card is about half a mil short in height and maybe a mil short across

Probably a blade alignment issue. I've seen similar with at least one box of 2014 Elite I busted, whereby the commons when stacked straight out of the pack (NOT sorted into number order) are clumped in slightly smaller/larger groups of 4 or so, depending upon whether they were above or below the central insert. I busted a box of Select Dynasty a couple of weeks ago and the same issue was present (but slightly more noticeable).

Well there you go.. Ive never come across this before myself, just thought id put it out there. Its obviously a little more common then I had thought....

Before I forget, I took a pic of a small stack straight out of the packets, before sorting.
