Long shipping times from the US?

Anyone else CURRENTLY experience extra-delayed shipping times from the US? I've had one 90c envelope take 7 weeks to arrive that i just recieved and am still waiting on another for over 9 weeks now from a seller ive baught off many times before and trust. I am also still waiting on another 2 auctions for nearly 5 weeks now!! This has never happened to me before, the longest ive ever had to wait is 4 weeks.
Is there some kind of slow down with US mail delivery across Australia or is this a more localised issue???
Either way ive been waiting and waitng and its doing my head in

yeh im still waiting on a package that was supposedly sent 3 weeks ago. but i bought a few cards from the US last week and recieved them this tuesday so i dont know whats going on.

Not at my end... I get mail almost everyday and I haven't got my head spinning lately...

I get them normally a week after the post stamped date...

not much except some exquisite cards sent from US on june 8... not arriving

and i doubt it will ever arrive, but dunno what to do, bought from the same seller five times in last 3 months..

just my luck i guess..

yeh I've been waiting a little over 2 weeks which is a little strange. I thought if it was posted air mail you would receive within 8 days.

Postal muck up mate. Sometimes they get sent 'shipped' rather than 'airmail' and that takes 7-8 weeks. I just recently got a card that I thought was lost cause that exact thing had happened.

Other than that, $0.90 envelopes have been arriving within 7 days recently Even one last week, auction ended 9th and arrived 13th!!! The longer ones have had slack sellers attached to them posting them up to 15 days late! I left a positive feedback but stated why the 18 day delay in posting, and he e-mailed me, "Can't help shipping/postal times", to which I replied "So the label stating posted 18 days later was wrong?" No reply hahaha

Got one today (July 16) shipped June 14.

It appears First Class does not mean fast class.
Saying that, they usually arrive within two weeks.

well, if your package was sent june 14th, and came july 16th, i wonder if mine will come next week, as it was sent june 21st.:-k

I got a package today from the US $1.80 postage and it took 7 days.

I'm still waiting for stuff from late June (20th) which was sent priority.

I think (not sure on this) that postal prices and methods have been changed a bit in the US recently, I think prices have gone up a bit and for some bloody unknown reason postage times are all out the arse.

In NZ I generally get cards from the US in 7-10 days - I've been waiting 2 weeks for some at the moment - I get shittier each day!!!

WOOHOO! i just recieved an envelope ive been waiting on for over 60 days on!! and yeah it was sent via damned sea not air.... there is a big USPS sticker on the envelope with handwritten SURFACE MAIL on it
$US 4.25 for less than 100g weight plus padded yellow envelope would be air mail rates right?
Either way i only paid $US4.24 for the auction (Including the postage) so im not gonna complain to the seller.

ARGGGHHH!!! this still Doesn't explain why my other parcels are taking so long to arrive!!!!

I'm glad u got the card but that's terrible - bloody boat mail?? Coulda gotten washed into the sea!! I'd be complaining!!!

I just recieved the ONE envelope i've been waiting on for 5 weeks and another that was sent 7 days ago Today!! So this looks like a GOOD sign.

These were all postmarked by USPS reasonable dates after the auctions and stamped "AIR MAIL" and "FIRST CLASS". These were all sent from different locations in the states so it definitely looks like somthing is screwed up with how Australia Post is handling my mail!!! I will have to make an enquiry.. what a hassle......

i just got my package today and it said it was sent on the 20th of june!! its probably the longest ive waited for a package to come....
