ljandkg hits 40!!!

Back in the day before Exquisite came out and changed the face and moods of most collectors - waaayy back in 2001-02 Upper Deck used to put out great sets without sticker autos and cards with awesome patches and game jerseys etc

Then they changed it up a gear with the release of the 01-02 Ultimate Collection!! The boxes cost a packet and the cards were indeed sweet (in fact if anyone has a KG common from this set drop me a line!) - even the base cards were outrageously numbered to only 750!!

Anyway - to cut through all the crap...

This arrived today - my 40th Garnett jersey numbered card and one well worthy of the achievement....

I don't have any other graded ones and must say they don't scan too well but it's a beaut and I got it for a song at $16 - then the seller refunded me $5postage after originally charging $8!!

Yeah well I guess i'll have to get my head round that soon too Benny!!

My goal is to get to 50 by the years end - 41 is also on the way too so looking promising.....

Cheers Truth - I thought it was a steal too....must say Mr KG helped - he loves graded KG's and stayed away from this one for me

Benny - no idea - I do have one of those fat beckett books so I'll have a count up one rainy day!! I'm thinking close to 1000 though....so I might have 4% of them??
