Brendan Rodgers is closing in on his third signing as Liverpool boss after the club agreed a fee with Dutch side Heerenveen for winger Oussama Assaidi.
The 24-year-old Morocco international will join fellow new boys Joe Allen and Fabio Borini at Anfield, provided he passes a medical at the club's Melwood training ground.

Capped 22 times for his country, Assaidi will add to Rodgers' options in wide areas with the Northern Irishman keen to implement the same 4-3-3 formation that served him so well as Swansea boss.
Rodgers, meanwhile, is also hoping to seal a season-long loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin in time forhis side's opening Premier League match at West Brom.
Sahin, 23, is available after failing to to establish himself at the Bernabeu where he has made only 10 appearances since arriving from Borussia Dortmund a year ago.
Madrid boss Jose Mourinho admitted last week that he was willing to let Sahin leave on a temporary basis with Anfield believed to be his most likely destination.
Arsenal had also expressed an interested in the midfielder, named Bundesliga Player of the Year in 2011 after helping Dortmund to the title, but it is understood Liverpool are prepared to pay a larger proportion of his wages.
