Was supposed to have 3 total boxes of 1997-98 Metal Championship, but received an email from the seller:

"Thank you very much for your recent order for our Beckett Market Place Storefront. I apologize for the delay on shipping these but we were sold out of this particular box, however I was able to track 2 boxes down for you.. Didn’t think I was going to be able to but one of my inquiries paid off today. They are on their way to me now and we will ship them back out to you as soon as they arrive (hopefully Friday). I apologize again for the delay but figured a few days delay was better than cancelling the order. If you have any questions about your order or there would happen to be a mistake or problem of any kind with please feel free to contact us immediately.."

Not a problem, no big deal, but wanted you guys to know because I did promise a 7 box break... So instead of making you wait until I get the remaining 2 boxes of Metal in, i'll just bust this @^&% TONIGHT!!! :D :devil:

PLEASE NOTE: I will bust them live on BlogTV shortly after game 5 of the NBA Finals, where the Mavs beat the Heat... :flex:

Talking about Heat, it was killer outside today!!! :eek:

Ok, so give me about a half hour or so after the game to set everything up...

PLEASE NOTE: I will try my best with the whole live video thingy, but I can't do anything about bad connections issues... lol I will attempt to record it for the people not in the room who would like to watch it at their own time. But if connection goes out I will wait till it comes back on haha. But can't promise that I will be able to have a recording with all the connection problems... So if you're there you're there. If not, sorry, but no worries because I will post results on the thread anyway.


Reguardless, I will post text written results if I pull anything cool like the little inserts. If I actually pull something worth it I will take pics...

Hope I didn't miss anything.

If you enjoy 90's cardboard then I think you will like it, because I sure do! :)

Wow after ten years, that's great! I broke my first box this year after 6-7 years and it's been really fun to be getting back into the hobby :)

Yeah man it's been a while... Last product I busted was 2000-01 Fleer something, can't remember the name. The one where you get 1 replica autographed jersey in each box. Oh cool, 6-7 year wait is not too bad :D It surely feels as exciting as back then! Can we ever really leave this hobby? :)

Thank you! I will be recording, but I can't promise I wont have connection issues... I will try my best though, so everybody who missed it can see. I hate taking pics/scans, no patience... I'd rather film it, it's easier lol. I will go out of my way to scan it if I get anything worth it... But no worries I will try my best at recording it.

I don't think people wanna see pics of common stuff anyway... But hopefully I can pull something nice :D

I'll make the recap vid when I get the chance, which should only be a minute or two...

That was pretty much all I pulled, the Patrick Ewing Legacy ROW 0 #'d to 100 :devil:

I did a little checking on Beckett and it appears that is Ewing's rarest card other than the 4 1/1's that they made for each card.

There's the regular cards, ROW 3, 2, 1 and then RWO 0 is #'d to 500.

Then the Legacy's ROW 3, 2, 1 and 0 are all #'d to 100 which I pulled the ROW 0 :D

So yeah that was my saving grace lol. If I didn't pull that card than I would probablly be pissed. But then again I did have a great time with you guys and it was awesome busting some boxes after 10 years!!!

Please give me some time because I need to take pics of the card and then i'll post it, but you can see it on video "1997-98 Flair Showcase 3" so yeah box 3 is where I pulled the best card and t's in the first pack!

I will take a pic when I get the chance. I'm not an avid seller just because I hate doing the whole pic/scan stuff haha.
