Thought this may be a good chance to showcase some of your cards that are not from the NBA, but from other sporting or entertainment fields.

Heres a chance to show them off!

I would have to say one of my favourites is this one....Tiger Woods Fairway Fabrics Tour Swatch.....what makes this cool is that its from one of his shirts that he has worn on the final day of a tournament.....he always wears red on Sunday!

I'd love to see what everyone else has in there collection!

Chris Judd SPx Signature Draft Card (Gold version #'d/225)

Chris Judd Multi Colour Guernsey card #147/300

The scans don't do them justice though.....
Other favourites of mine are my Shane Warne Hat-Trick Card, Topps McGrath Signature card & Select Rod Marsh Signature Card.

I used to collect Marvel cards, especially Spiderman, Venom, Carnage & Scarlet Spider because of the awesome drawing the artists did one those cards.

i still have that same card hendra, i too used to collect spiderman, venom, carnage and scarlet spider, as well as black cat and doc oc cards. i still have the entire set of 95 Ultra Spiderman. ill scan up a couple of the cooler inserts later.

Used to have a Tiger Woods auto, but sold that to get more NBA stuff. Also got rid of my Elijah Woods and Orlando Bloom autos. Those are sorely missed.

Also used to collect some Marvel stuff and Movie Cards. But not much. Had a little collection of X-Files. Have over the years been slowly getting rid of the stuff.

Here are some of my autos I have kept though.

Pulled this redemption (Holly Marie Combs) from packs about 1-2 years ago, about 2 years after it expired. Emailed Inkworks who said they still had the cards which they could redeem for me, and they were happy to redeem to Australia. So I sent the card in with the email and within 4 weeks I got this sweet auto.

I collected Marvel cards as well the 94 sets of Spiderman and the X-Men were my favourites. I'll try and dig them up and take some pics.

Interesting thread and some nice cards guys. I have collected a number of different non-sport sets over the years even though I haven't been a huge fan of non-sports I have most X-Men, Star Wars and all the LOTR sets. Plus all kinds of weird stuff. My favorates being my ManUnited card sets and West Coast collection
none of them as good as this guy though. he's a huge reason why we're in Germany next month plus I have easy access to a pic

As you guys know, I am a collector of cards from other sports besides basketball, including NFL and Baseball.... these are two of my favourites...

Rookie Auto of the Cowboys Running Back Barber, who worked in a two pronged attack with Julius Jones... only a Julius Jones auto would make me happier!

14/20 Jersey of a former Oakland Athletics Pitcher... definitely my favourite baseball card....

This is mine, i was a big Adam Scott fan and collected alot of golf autos and event worn cards from alot of players but sold them to start my Exquisite rc set. This has 2 auto cards and 3 event worn shirts and his Upper Deck RC along with a ball i got signed.

Ok here is just a small fraction of my old spiderman, x men etc inserts, just a few that i think look cool.

this card and set are what got me into collecting. the first set i ever collected, '92 Batman Returns cards $0.95 a pack. i remember walking down the the deli with every dollar i saved up to buy packs of these and a piece of bubble gum with the 5c change. anyway this was the first mojo pull of my life, it was the first time i felt that rush you get when you bust a nice card, and i have been hooked ever since

this is from 95 Ultra Spiderman, an awesome set that i still have the whole base set and most of the inserts from. these cards are kinda see-thru chrome refractors, anyway they look cool.

from the same set, the coolest inserts imo were these hologram cards, doesnt scan up too great but awesome in hand.

this is also from the 95 ultra spiderman set, just a great looking card (doesnt scan up too great cos my scanner dislikes anything chrome or foil ).

Some X-Men stuff now, i really dug these clear see-thru suspended animation cell cards. here is Gambit from 95 Ultra X-men, i still have the complete set of these (minus 1 or 2 base) and most of the inserts.

heres a similar cell card from another awesome set 94 Marvel Universe.

heres a Rogue Sinister Observations insert from 95 ultra x-men, looks a billion time better in hand, my scanner really hates anything chromey.

This is my fave all time insert set, it looks AMAZING in hand but its a 3D moving hologram (similar to that sports illustrated cover with the moving MJ hologram, anyone else remember it?) so it only looks good when you move it around. it really looks 3 dimensional and looks like the Silver Surfer is coming out of the card at you. this is from 94 Marvel universe set.

Thats just a very tiny portion of the inserts from my days of collecting comic cards, makes me feel nostalgic pulling them out again.
