I know this is totally irelevant to card collecting but i feel i must pass this on and hope fully someone learns from it, i copied it from my facebook post and people living in the Newcastle area will be more familiar with it........

Last sunday night my son William lost a good freind, Sonja Hippele, in a horrific car accident, Zara Schrepf also died that night. Last night that car accident claimed another victim Williams class mate and freind Brendan Turvey, now for what ever reason as to why this accident happened, and there is plenty of speculation as too why it did, what i am truley hoping for is that lessons are learnt from all this and that life can not be taken for granted. When i last saw Sonja last week she commented on how everything was just awesome 2 days later she was dead so respect life and make it count and learn from this.

Thanks for looking.

RIP Sonja, Zara and Brendan you are sadly missed

(It puts into respective where a box of cards from a competition lays in the scheme of things doesnt it)

A loss of a life is always a tragic and sad story, especially for those left behind.

But sadly it's common in life, that we never know what we have till it's gone.

Sad story mate. As Mike said, you don't know what you have til its gone.

Hope your son gets over this coz I know he's in real pain right now. I wish him all the best and if you dont mind me saying, be always there to support him, mate!

Thanks mate, my son is a strong person and is handling it well, considering, and he knows we are here for him. The tester for all the freinds etc will be shcool tomorrow, i dont think there will be much teaching happening.

Wow Dave, read alot about that story in the paper last week - sounded horrific. Condolences to family and friends. Life can slap you in the face very hard when it wants to. Hope your boys doing ok mate.
