As a lowly commons collector, I often don't know which players have a signature card.
I have been challenged to find TEN modern age players who probably deserve a signature card.
I have six already.
I will give names of FIVE here, and people can suggest another FIVE.
The FIVE already noted are:
* Steve "Blocker" Roach (Balmain)
* Wayne "Junior" Pearce (Balmain)
* Ron Coote (Souths / Easts)
* Andrew "ET" Ettingshausen (Cronulla)
* Eric "Guru" Grothe (Paramatta)
I am thinking - retired (preferable), one club man (beneficial, but not essential), played State/SoO footy, played for Australia, played in a Grand Final (not necessarily won one).
I have a soft spot for Greg Florimo, but I think he has one of those 1996 Dynamic sig cards, as does Brandy Alexander and 18 others. I'd also like a Hollywood Hartley, Bill Harrigan or Tony Archer sig card some day.
Remember - can't have a series released signature card.
Debate and suggest away.
However, don't just throw up a name. Explain why the particular player is a legend AND why they really should have a schmick signature card.
Come 5pm Sunday 6th April, discussion closes and I'll be taking what's here and running with it.
I'd love a signature card from either Royce "2 tries in a grand final" Simmons or an Mark "MG" Geyer signature card. Both Penrith Club Legends.
Funnily enough I did mention a set like this to a certain company but they responded saying they already do legends signatures...one more modern and an older one.
There would be a massive market for a club legends type signature set....so many good players to choose from and many would sign fairly cheaply too.
I guess it's all about someone putting in the effort to want to do a set like this.
Adam MacDougall - my all time favourite player along with Joey.
Played for NSW and Australia, is a World Cup, Ashes and Origin winner. Think he may be the only winger to ever get MOTM in an Origin, or at the least one of a very select few. Won two grand finals. Newcastle's all time top try scorer at the time of his retirement. Also holds the record for most tries in a single game at the club (four). Played first grade for 17 years. Newcastle's oldest ever first grader.
And all this after nearly dying from a blood clot on his brain at the age of 21.
HAZEM EL MASRI
Most Points - 2,418 (160 tries, 893 goals)
Most Points in a season - 342 (16 tries, 139 goals)
Triple Centurion 316 games (club record)
Plus has many many more records and stats..
He played a game for NSW and Aus too
Personal I think he deserves a signature card the most, but this is just my opinion

Going by this criteria, I can only think of two for my club - Gary Belcher and Jason Croker. Not only does Croker comply with the criteria you listed, he is also 300+ gamer and the club's highest try scorer.
