We were thrashed by one run, even so, I think we were flattered by the result. lee and Tait 4 overs for 40 runs each. I just read that Clint Mckay is out with a stress fracture. Injuries might enable some to hold a place they might not otherwise have kept.
 
Brilliant knock. One of the all-time great ODI innings.

On the flipside, Tait is an absolute embarassment. Can't bowl more than 4 overs without breaking down. Pathetic.

Seriously the bloke has no concept of what hard work and commitment is all about. Got himself a baggy green and then had a mental breakdown and couldn't handle the pressure, then retires from the long version of the game and thinks that by bowling 4 overs every now and then he has made something of himself. :blink:

yeah agree with every bit of that..

Young blood is needed, not guys like that who take up spots but aren't prepared to work.. His match fitness is terrible, and to make it worse he only bowled 4 overs in a T20!!

Mate he can barely even bowl 4 freaking overs! Don't get me started LOL
He almost cost us the T20 win the other night with his 5wides in the penultimate over!
He can barely bowl one good over at time...
 
Dear Shane Watson. I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong! :razz:

If we a had a team full of blokes like him, we'd be No. 1 with a bullet. I remember walking past him in Rundle Mall last year before the Adelaide Test and thought "You dickhead", but gee I really admire the bloke now.

Just watch him when he gets hit for a boundary, or is dismissed. He cares.
