The 1st and i think ONLY Gemography set ! there is also a Jordan in the set fm what i am told
It is his 2nd year auto card

Any info or even interested can you please post it in the thread NO PM's thanks

Hey Terry,

Ive looked this card up before, so i might be able to help.

Nobodys gonna be able to give u a BV on it, as its not priced by Beckett (i even checked Beckett Online).
What i can tell you is the card is listed as "SP", which prolly means its numbered to 25 (or less).

This means its in the range of $350-$500bv.
But personally, i reckon its closer to $500, as theyre sweet looking cards, and its an on-card auto.

BTW, there is an MJ, Kobe, Melo, KG etc in this set, but all these stars are listed as "SP", and not priced.

So i guess this really means its worth whatever someones prepared to pay/ trade for it

Thanks for the heads up on that paul... i was thinking between 4/500, especially for his 2nd year auto... nearly 5 years old already :)

Less than 25 is sweet

No dramas mate.

Yeah, i agree with ya. Id say $500 too

Heres the text copied from beckett online...

2004-05 Black Diamond GemoGRAPHy LJ LeBron James SP N/A N/A

i've seen this one sell 2 times earlier this year. one for around $150 and the other slightly lower. BV of 500 is not very realistic imo. i say a BV of $300 which more of his 2nd year auto's have is a good guideline

bv isn't a reflection of what a card sells for, but I think your right mate with the 300 figure.

04-05 Upper Deck Trilogy Signs of Stardom #LJ LeBron James SP $400.00

Spot on, the lowest 2nd year Lebron thats "SP" is $350, with other mid-range low numbered US products hitting $350 - $600.

So as i said... $350 - $500 would be correct. If you're trying to get this card, you'd argue $350, and if you possess this card, you're goin to say $400-$500 arent you?

2004-05 Sweet Shot Signature Shots Blue LJ LeBron James $250.00 $600.00
2004-05 Sweet Shot Signature Shots Red LJ LeBron James $250.00 $600.00
2004-05 Sweet Shot Signature Shots White LJ LeBron James $250.00 $600.00
2004-05 Sweet Shot Sweet Spot Signatures LJ LeBron James $200.00 $400.00

these Sweet shot BVs are not making any sense, priced way too high and more and more hit the market ( UD is sending these out as redemption replacements)

And what exactly does SP mean? When for instance the usual print run is 100 cards and Lebron has 90, than thats a SP compared to the rest. But does that make much of a difference? i doubt that the Gemography has less than 100 copies which makes it comparable to the 04-05 SP SIGnificance /100.

Haha, since when has Beckett pricing made sense?

Thats why i said $350 - $500. Looking through the Beckett you will find a basis to argue a value of $350 (trilogy SP, hardcourt clear SP), and then you'll also find basis to value to card at $500 or above.

I copied in the Sweet Shot prices, as it appeared you simply grabbed the Beckett, and looked for the lowest priced LJ 04/05 auto.

The value of any card is ultimately "what you sell it for" this thread is about what the BV might be rather than what someone might snipe it for on the bay or anywhere else !

So if someone wanted to know the value of the Michael Jordan 92/93 Team Leader insert, would people say $100 or $170 plus based on what one sold for 3 months ago !?

then what is a BV? SV times 2 because those Becketidians claim so?

If a card's unpriced a trader can trade it for what he believe he wants.. at the other end the trader will always try to get the lowest amount possible, but I think that's what Paul R33 was trying to say.

well i didnt express my wants in that card, nor have i interest when it trades for 300 or 500. My post was a realistic one and reflects the BV it should have imo.

I do not think anyone will trade for that card at 500. my 2 cents
