To mark my return to the collecting of NFL cards, I treated myself to some boxes from dacardworld.

Since these are the first NFL cards I've opened since the late 90's I was going to be happy with anything. First up was a box of 2013 R & S Longevity. Now I have to work out how to get up some pictures. Unchartered territory for me. I'll try this upload a file thing.

Nothing spectacular but I'll take that. A box each of 2013 Absolute and 2014 Topps jumbo to go. I'm trying to space them out a little, but the Absolute might have to get a run tomorrow.

Box 2, 2013 Absolute, was the the 24 pack, 10 cards per pack box, so not expecting too much. Went with this one really to build up my stocks of nice looking inserts, etc., so happy with the return.

Like the Andrew Luck, and the Hogg Heavens have that nice pigskin texture.

Also managed to get the full 100 card regular base set, and have heaps of leftovers too.

Nice mixture of cards sir. 2013 is a funny draft class, I believe there will be some guys who hit their straps in the next 2 years. Plus you may be able to move some on the forum

Yep, will be watching some rookies over the next few years. This kind of hobby adds that extra element of interest to the sports we follow.

Tomorrow I reckon. Mow the lawn then get into it around lunchtime. Have seen a couple of youtube videos of breaks of this. Looks like loads of inserts included.

I am keen to see what is in it lol. I had a mailday that need to post tomorrow on here, ripped a blaster or prizm I got sent over and jagged a ryan shazier /50 auto. Only guaranteed hit is there relic. Hopefully you have some mojo

And Topps jumbo 2014.

Catching up with some news this morning and read that Teddy Bridgewater was named rookie of the year.

First pack...

Don't know what that means. Probably not much, but added to its significance in the collection from my part. Happy with that start.

Pretty happy with the two autos, too. First up, Paul Worrilow.

And then in the vary last pack, my first on card auto, Brandin Cooks, '85 design card.

Quite pleased with all those hits.

The minis are a cool concept and the tall boys. I am considering doing the chrome topps set. The chrome just makes the pictures pop lol

Yeah the chromes are nice. I've got some other boxes on the way but might add some chrome to list for later.

Anyway, got a couple in all that for the Bears PC.

There was a Suggs in the base, too.
