Ok NBA.com is having this comp so lets try it here. person with highest point total will win a collection of kobe cards. some inserts, base that sort of stuff

When Kobe Bryant's having made history, scoring an incredible 81 points versus the Raptors on Sunday, it was the type of thing you'd only imagine happening in a video game. Now we'd like to see if you can top the second-highest point total in NBA history in just that.

Here's how it works: Play the NBA simulation title of your choice (NBA Live '06, NBA 2K6 or NBA 06) on the PC or console of your choice your (Xbox, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 2), and try to score as many points with Bryant.

The length of quarters should be no longer than eight minutes and the difficulty level should be one level above the easiest. Rules and setting should be on Nba SIMULATION


• How many points you scored with Bryant in how many minutes
• What his field goal, three-point and free-throw shooting stats were
• How many steals, assists and rebounds he collected
• Who the opponent was and if the contest was at home or on the road
• The quarter length and difficulty level that were used

post us screen shot the boxscore and thats it. winner will be chosen from best stats overall not only points and if i win noone else gets anything mwah hahaha

oh and i'll give this a week before closing so next friday morning 9am entries close.

I play NBA Live 06 on ps2 almost every day, dynasty mode with the 76ers.
Anyhow, I play 6 minute quarters on the superstar level and I've scored more than 100pts with Iverson twice and set the single game team scoring record at 198 pts, Iguodala missed a trey at the end of regulation.

But I am choosing not to enter because I don't know what I'd do with a bunch of Kobe cards. If I won I mean.. :roll:

100pts in 24 mins?

Must have Fatigue turned off, or on a low level of impact....

What modifiers have you changed (players ability to steal, and shoot, etc), CPUs level to control the ball, shoot, defend, etc.....

Sounds dodge to me...

Superstar is one level under the hardest, All Star. Or is it the other way around? Either way I'm playing the second hardest level.
Fatigue is off. My centres must have asthma because when fatigue is on, they last about a quarter. It shits me. Especially when Philly has average centres and Webber can't play defense.
Mods are the same for me and the cpu. All around the 65-75 rating.
The 100pt games were in overtime also.
Don't know what else to tell ya mate..

Update progress... lol this is fun.

Just to confirm also, as it doesnt specify WHAT TEAM, as long as the stats are with Kobe yeah?

Well, I chose to play against Toronto (will do it against Detroit too since it's so fun).

No settings changed, other that minimum requirements (8 mins, Pro level, etc).

6 mins into it, Kobe has 32, with 14/20 shooting (70%) and 2/3 FTs, and 2/5 3s. Havent noticed other stats (well have, but havent mentioned yet).

just as long as it's default rosters you can play againts any team. yeah so that means no trading every good player away to have a team of battiers

Ended up fouling out at 3rd Qtr with 75. Started new game, end of first, Kobe has 34.

NOW u say Default Rosters.... In other words, you must use the LAKERS against any other REGULATION TEAM????

Rules state above, "try to score as many points with Bryant."

Doesnt state HOW, only the Rules, and modifers (Simulation Mode).

i mean that you dont specifically change the rosters. if you've kept em to current nba rosters i dont care as long as you dont have a team of 4ft nothings running around trying to play defense

well it does count minutes when players shoot foul shots etc..it said he played 35 minutes so yeah....yeah i suck at it...i mean i just really am crap lol....i dont care its just fun lol...but but...i ddddiddd win the game (just) lol how did you guys go?

Damn I wish I had a digital camera. My highest score with Kobe is well over 100 (I think it was 124) with 8 minute quarters on ALL-STAR (highest difficultly)
