I just woke up with a splitting head ache but with the sweet taste of victory in my mouth...

Let me paint a bit of a picture;

We (my son's team) were undefeated up until the final round of the Season where Terrigal beat us, there was some tension between the teams as the Terrigal coach had been secretly videoing our training sessions and recent matches and mouthing off how beatable we were etc etc. He is a sad individual it is U/12's footy not the 4 Nations but anyway.......

We then played them again in First week of the Semi's and they smashed us 28-0, we were hoplessly outplayed.

We then won the Prelim Final to make the GF to again play Terrigal. During the week several official complaints were made from both our team and another team, woy woy, about their coach.

Friday morning I open our local paper and there is a half page photo of my son...very sureal but great for his self confidence.

Well yesterday afternoon the Grand Final grudge match was on, no one from our side really gave the boys much chance as the other team had worked us out and crushed us. Well anyway the boys put in, lifted a notch and turned up for each other and they had one of the greatest victories ever 18-6.

Time for a coffee and panadol.

Thanks everyone, I'm now going on another mad monday with a couple of the parents.....watch the Dragons hopefully win a finals game.
