I was re-reading the Mailing rules for this site and noticed this paragraph
"Other sites do not have rules for these sorts of things, and we have seen far too many cards damaged from poor packing. The white envelopes in particular are a no no - we have it from an Aussie Post employee that these white envelopes go through an automated sorting machine, which explains some of the damage we have seen to cards/top loaders sent in plain envelopes. Bubble mailers do not go through this process, so the chances of damage are far less likely."....... I just want to expand on this a bit....not only does the sorting machine cause damage sometimes it destroys it to the point the envelope is unreadable hence the cause of some "no shows" in the mail. that's my ten cents worth

I thought I was raising a very valid point which was not pointed out in the sites rules but of course "Mr. I've got 4333 posts and I know it all" does not realise some new people might not realise this fact. I don't ridicule your post so don't ridicule mine

Once you get past the fact its obviously recorded for a kids show its damn interesting and shows the sort of machine mail passes through and why it can get so mangled.

Slobs i think we have to give him a break. He only joined in May10 so may not have learned of your all knowing greatness :D

Glad to hear your on team yellow as well buddy.

an Informative post doesnt need a reply, it is there to inform not debate, the reason I posted it was because I see all these stories of "no shows" in the mail and this site only highlighted the fact that they get "damaged" and some people perceive this as a slight scratch not to be confused with "TOTALLY F...ED". but hey go ahead and poke fun, I'm bigger than that

and will continue to show restraint as i do not feel the need to partake in esoteric verbiage to bemuse mediocre people in brusque conversation as to the joke that is australia post. you make a valid point as to the negative effect however damaged means damged, a scratch is still totally "f**ked" as you put it because it may be an exquisite card, or a 1/1 etc. i simply didnt feel we needed to have various meanings to what consitutes damage.

I'd love to hang around and have a battle of wits with you but I don't fight unarmed people, oh by the way damaged is spelt damaged not damged and i think constitutes is spelt constitutes... you may be wise but your spelling sucks.hang in there sunshine it can only be uphill from here on
