Just returned from spending Christmas and NYE in New York, followed by Las Vegas and San Fran (reason why I have been slow in responding to people over the last few weeks - sorry). Thought I might let you all know the basketball highlights:
Knicks v Portland @ MSG on New Years Day - AWESOME! Still can't believe I got to see Kidd in action (what luck that he signed there) and was also lucky to have Melo and Amar'e return. Knicks were terrible, except for Melo, and Kidd was very quiet but still a memory I will cherish forever (and they did manage to make a game of it in the end). Now I just need to get to a Lakers game (my team).
Also picked up (with the dollar being so good):
Melo swingman jersey (to wear to the game)
Kidd swingman jersey (bought @ the game - had been looking all over and was lucky to get their last one)
Howard authentic jersey
Reebok Pump Twighlight Zones (black)
Willis 49ers Jersey (dont follow NFL but being the time of year the whole country was football crazy so thought would make a good momento from San Fran)
SF Giants and Yankees 59Fifty
but...
no cards!!!
