Hi
It seems that doing a newbie post is the thing to...well, do.
I've only got a few cards, just more for memorabilia than anything else. I came across this site while looking for the best way to protect my cards (ie brand of sleeves, protectors etc). You look like you have a very friendly bunch of people on this site.
BTW, what is a 'top-loader' - I have no idea!
Jill
Hay ya, Jill. A toploader is a card holder where you insert the card through the top - either in a protective sleeve or un-protected. so far as i know there are only three kinds of toploaders (or top-end loaders) - flimsy, flexy holders, the standard holders that have been around for who knows how long and the extra thick one's for patch cards and ultra thick-stock cards (1998 Upper deck Diamond vision comes to mind). For anything in between (regular jersey cards, E-X) there's nothing - standard loaders aren't thick enough and the super thicks are too thick.
Welcome to OzCardTrader. Don't worry you're not alone. I'm new to this site. Only just recently gotton back into collecting for memory purposes really. Some of the terms uses in here I was clueless but you will eventually pick up things along the way. So far, I'm just waiting on confirmation for a Lebron James card I just bought thru OzCardTrader. I was buying alot from eBay but I find most of the people here are more informative and helpful.
