I agree with GoMoto... It's his card, so let him sell it any way he wants. Also, the $16.50 shipping fee covers international registered mail w/insurance which is not cheap.
There's no such thing as registered intl unless you use a 'registered envelope' which has to be the special australia post envelope and isn't a bubble mailer. If youre sending a mailer all it can be is insured, you can also have return receipt. Cost should be about $16 for up to $100 insurance.
If its too dear for the hardcore player collectors then don't bid, pretty easy. No one else will bid and secondly there are no stipulations to what things can and cannot be sold for. I have seen 50c cards starting at $10 before, which is 20x the original value. This card isn't listed 20x its value I dare say..
G'day all, Thanks for interested on my Auction, just few points need to be clear:
First, A friend of mine once told me before:"Card is only worth what you willing to pay", I agree with that, so I set up a buy it now price which I think is fair for me with best offer option, so all offers are welcome. After all it is my card and whatever I paid is Unrelated to this Auction.
2nd, For Those who has deal with me in the past would know I never over charge on postage, the fact this Auction is running on US ebay. it's for international registered postage not just for Australia. Aussie bidder will pay whatever post office charge me which is around $4-5 for registered postage in bubble mailer.
I think it's fair to charge $13.50 for a card worth $100+,because it has to be registered for oversea buyer(just like adhunt99 said, it would cost around $16, yet I am happy to make up the difference).
JZA-if I never charge you $13.50 for postage, what makes you think I would charge other Aussie for that amount?
If anyone has issue, please pm me, rather than posting on forum, I would be much appreciated.
