Hi Everyone.
I found some Jordan doubles at my parents place in Perth, thought Id list them on the forum before listing on Ebay. Let me know if you are interested in any of these, many more to come once my holidays end and I get back to Brisy in a couple of weeks. Thanks.
Alan.
Hi Billy & Magic
Thanks for your interest guys. As Ive just recently joined the forum and havent had a look at a Beckett since Nov 04, Ive got no idea what the current value of any of these cards are and what kind of selling terms are current on this forum? From memory the Mr Junes were worth about US$15, Jordan Heroes US$12 and Supreme Court US$10, but this is from 14 months ago? Ive got no idea on current values?
The cards are in mint condition, including postage I guess Im looking for approx $40 from Billy for the 3 cards and $15 from Magic for the Supreme Court? Does this sound reasonable? Sorry, Im new to all this.....
Alan.
If you're not too sure on values - an ok way to find out is to do a completed items search on Ebay, that will give you the price of any sold in the last 90 days (or is it 30?)
I'm Not saying these are the prices you should sell at but gives you a bit of an indication of how they are selling currently. (I'd be interested in others opinion on this as well)

You are pretty much right - BV means jackshit unless you really really want to live by it, and in that instance you run the risk of not selling any cards to anyone who lives on ebay (or here for that matter) as they are a little more clued up and will not overpay for cards.
The only value that really matters is Ebay (really) - that gives a pretty good indication of the cards worth .. mind you that you do have to take things into account (sellers feedback - whether they are selling internationally - accepting paypal etc) as all these things can affect the price of items by varying degrees.
Makes me laugh when people are so concerned about BV - sure it gives you a starting point but it's just wrong. I keep going back to what the Hill Finest were selling for when they came out and BV was about 1/5 of that. Whereas in other instances the BV is $500 and the cards sell for $40 on ebay.
Are you serious? All the while I've been living off BV! I've been had!!! GRAAAAAH!!!
I agree though that eBay is the best guide to price cards. But for cards that aren't on eBay as much, use Beckett. Although most people will only pay 1/2 at most of BV. There are always a few exceptions though who's autos/cards would go above BV.
Yeah that too is a good point. With trades, I don't think eBay is the point of reference for most of us here... but again, there are always exceptions. In my case, I always use BV for regular cards in trading. If it's a rare auto, then I use eBay value/popularity.
Interesting... Maybe coz you don't have much cards to trade? That's what I noticed when I was a pure Kidd collector. So I changed it and tried obtaining nice varieties of autos and GUs on eBay at good prices.. so I can trade. Trading is fun Graham.
