Jimmy butler logoman

Hi Guys,

I am the lucky owner of the 2012-13 Immaculate Inscribed Logoman Jimmy Butler RC, unfortunately this is a redemption.
Snapshot background -
* redeemed roughly 12 months ago
* obviously from a set almost 3 years old.
* have been in touch with David Sharp already and discussed that they are at the will of the players to sign (and I get the sense that Butler is a painful signer - lots of redemptions, lots of sticker autos - he did however sign on card for the 14-15 Immac quads), I have also asked David to look further into this card, which didn't get any traction.
* I have been lucky enough to find one of the printing plates online which definitely looked used, so I believe the card has been produced.

So my questions -

What sort of Value? (I have an idea his NT and other Immac RC logoman have sold on ebay last year pre-December, before the allstar/star talk happened) I'm also concerned if I look at the replacement path, Panini/my valuation will be very different
How long would you wait?
Would you ask for a replacement?
Anything else I should consider???

Andrew! i would def hold off, this is a piece of history for this guy even if it takes 5 years, your in this hobby for the long run correct? if so its an easy YES WAIT answer from me.
No idea of value but realisticly this is one of his best RC's period.

For David to say its at the hand of the player is BS, if other products are getting signed why not yours?

Yeah definitely in no rush, just excitement overpowering patience!

In terms of the players will, the players control the signing sessions. Panini can't force them to do a signing. The only on card auto butler has done is the 14/15 immaculate quad, everything else is sticker. David also let me know that just because something appears on the redemption update does not necessarily mean that player has been in to do a signing, it's just that batch of cards has been processed.

Id wait it out.

I remember a case where a guy pulled a redemption for a Logoman Auto back in 2006/07 and UD replaced it with a 1/1 card of another player because they didnt think the logoman player would sign again.

A few months later the signed logoman was used as a replacement for someone else.

Id wait it out!

def understand the excitement but tbh the replacements you would receive would never be as great as this card!.

Hey Billy, long time no see (on my behalf), I would hold off. There will always be quality replacement cards, but there will only ever be one RC logoman for Butler if he does eventually sign. As long as Panini are not going to put a time frame on it I'd hold off.

wait it out if you can... you cant be guaranteed a card of the same value really as a replacement as something like a logomen auto rookie of a star player is pretty huge and what would you really be happy with in replacement? having said that tell them you want a kobe logomen in replacement for the inconvenience...

I'd say what Logoman ones do they have sitting around? see if you like it more than a Butler. Can't hurt to ask. They should be helpful with super high end stuff like this.

It's funny Rimp and I were talking about this last night and how they continue to do other autos, surely he could sign just this one - however -
what's better to piss off 300+ by holding up a release of low-end sticker
or

piss off 1 person by not releasing a logoman???

that would be an insane addition to the PC Andrew, you definitely would want to try and wait that one out rather than having Panini run of a BV which could be anything

Should ask if panini would withdraw your redemption request.. So you could sell or trade it? Gives you some more options

yeah was pretty happy when I saw the black uni - also happily the printing plate looks used, assuming therefore it means it has been made.
