Both hill and kidd came in at the same time, Co rookie of the year, and retire at the same time! Legends!

Both great players shame to see then go but IMO Hill was the better player

Yeah it's what they used to say throughout his career, then all of a sudden he was top 10 all time then top 5.
Unbelievable for someone who lost confidence in his 3 shot a couple times and altered his style and asked for shooting tips

I think Hill was during his years in Detroit, I just wish he didn't get injured...

But Kidd has had the better career... I mean he took the Nets from last place to the Finals Twice! with a couple of young players (Kmart, Jefferson)
The dude got robbed of an MVP, Nash got two and didn't make the finals.
He is also 2nd all time in playoff triple doubles!

DEV-A-STATED!!! At least I fulfilled the dream of seeing him play this season.

Only one positive...won't have to collect any base from now on

Huge fan of Hill and also sad to see him go. However, Kidd is an automatic HOFer. Hill will hopefully get there one day too.

No doubt it was probably the right time for both though. Sad that the era has ended. Remember pulling both rookie cards from one pack of FLEER back in the day - who would of thought they would both play through to 2013???

It feels like the end of an era for me. Kidd and Hill were 2 players I grew up watching and they came into the league a couple of years after I started taking more notice of the NBA.

Strange that they both left their teams they had been with for a few years to go to a new team for one last season.

Agree^^^^ Slowly but surely all the big names from my childhood are retiring. It's going to be weird once KG and TD retire!
