Tag Team Quads 93/94
The Thunder are my favourite team. So, naturally, when Meigray auctioned off jerseys from the opening day of the season, I wanted one. Durant (almost $7000), Westbrook (almost $4000) and Harden ($2400) went crazy, as did Ibaka ($2500). I was determined to get one, and am pretty darn happy with the result.
He's not a star player, he doesn't put up many stats, but he's a good defender and team player, AND he's a starter...
I used to think this was an ugly jersey, but now that I have one in hand, I think it's gorgeous...
Also has the special Christmas Day logoman, the very first day of the 2011-12 NBA Season, the one which the Thunder just might come out as Champions.
and funnily Meigray 'owe me' a COA for it...
He only played 20 minutes and scored 8 points, but I love it.

Actually I was, because that was the second of two that I bought...
The first one had to be a great looking jersey. Blake ($5500) and CP3 ($6000) were obviously crazy. I wanted to go for Billups ($1200) but thought I could fall back to Deandre - but there was a bidding war over that one (eventually went for $1700). Which left this pretty special piece.
One the very first day of free agency, this guy signed for Los Angeles. This is his Clippers debut jersey, he's a very solid player and a starter as well:
This one does come with a proper COA....
Caron played over 35 minutes and had a double-double.
So I'm delighted. I've doubled my NBA Game Worn Jersey collection and just need to look at getting them framed or something...
I forgot to mention that these were delivered on a day where there was heaps of thunder around Auckland, including directly above me as I was out walking at lunchtime, yet it never rained on me. Must be a sign...
