Well, the time is again here and I have managed to chalk down another quest in my time in this hobby.
I gotta admit, I'm still very bummed at what Upperdeck has done to this series by not,yet again, making all the cards in this series.
Forget what serial the cards say on the front, these things are rarer than what is printed on them.
Which is exactly why they have left so many people around the globe still waiting on their unredeemed packs.
And even when they did, they managed to stick different auto stickers that don't even match the rest of the set, and don't get me started on different coloured pens used too.
After spending the past 3-4 days sorting/compiling my cards, going through what I have done and haven't, I was so shocked to see how many times they have given me grief on my chases. Where a card should be, instead sits a black and white redemption card or worst still, a blank space.
Be that as it may, I'll just take it as it is and learn from this lesson on why I even bother chasing sets, as on some days it's more depressing than joyful.
But I'm very glad to have chalked this down, and is exactly why I got into the whole UD Black craze when it first stared.
So ladies and gents, I present to you my newly completed quest, so enjoy:
Wow man, that is just an awesome looking set (all three of them) What a beautiful set of cards mate, really is. Nicely presented to for us all to enjoy so thanks mate and congrats on an awesome looking set.
Depitydog - Thanks man, appreciate the comments
Well, the simple answer is you can't have all of something that isn't made. BUt even if they were, no one could do an entire print run of a card #25, little lone from a product like this. I know for a fact, that at least 1 of these is in someone else's set, so it's not going to happen
Ersk - Thanks mate, i'll certainly try, but too rare to do much else and i gave up on some already and sold them off to someone else whom have more luck than me
pvtryan - Thanks for the nice comments, glad you enjoy the view
I will continue sharing for as long as I m in this hobby
jordan23 - Ha ha ha Thanks Ha ha ha
ScottE - Thanks Scott Ha ha ha ha
ace e - Thanks champ, glad you like
SheedyStar - Thanks, appreciate the comments.
They do scan up really well and black and white are real stand out colours. So, all that combined make it a real appealing set to look at, which is probably why I got hooked on these when they first hit the market.
ozflava - Thanks
Yeah, when the product came out, the "patches" was all the talking point of them thats for sure. Now' it's the "why aren't there more to fill my packs" talk
dickyKnee - Thanks I'm really happy to have completed it thats for sure, nothing sucks more for me to have splurged out $$$$and have an unfinished product that no-one gets to see.
exzibit3 - Thanks
Yeah, the patches were crazy in this product
