Is this fake?

Hi all was just hoping if any of you knew if this kemp AU was fake or not? I have seen some of them around before and have always been unsure on buying and I have the opportunity to buy now so I just wanted to make sure before I did. The thing is the card doesn't come up on beckett.com, I can only find the base / gold versions.

Not an expert on bball cards, but the pen used for the signature looks thicker than the one used to number it. Is this normal or does someone other than the player number the cards? Excuse my ignorance

I just checked the hologram number on the ud site...didnt come up as legit

That Holo number should not appear as it is too old.

Yeh I know its a bargain at that price.. Also a complete waste of money if its a fake. Really on the fence with this one I think it looks legit but I need to be a 100% sure it is and if that ud auth no. aint showing cus its too old makes it kinda difficult to know. Any other experts out there? Goin by what yall saying Im leaning towards that it is fake. Thanks for all ya feedback fellas

I have a feeling that the signature has faded and someone has traced over it with a thicker texta. If you look at the "K" in Kemp, there appears to be a thinner line under it consistent with the numbering. Im guessing someone has thought the thicker texta would make it look better...it didnt!

I have seen this one around for quite a while, whilst i am pretty sure it's legit it doesn't present very well which is why I haven't bought it. The fine line someone mentioned earlier underneath the K is not a separate or previously done line, it is the hand speed and pen pressure that creates the variance combined with the surface of the card that makes it look thicker and thinner in parts. It seems like the ink doesn't sit too well on that card surface. I would at least ask to see another pic or 2. It may look great in hand but looks pretty average in that particular picture. I have a couple of UDA Kemp autos but they are not holo cards so they appear different. My pro motion auto is a holo but they used a blue pen on that which is awesome in hand in in pics. For what it's worth the numbering is written exactly as per my UDA autos so I would say if not written on by Kemp the same person attends these sigining sittings. Good luck man, hope that helps

The auto has the same thickness as the numbering and their is no sign of blatatnt uneven thickness.
