Nah - to me its something more sinister like Shill Bidding.

Member Id: r***o (11) - 61% activity with the one seller and 3 bid retractions.

The bid retractions raise the biggest alarm bells for me. I think John Elias would even take the odds on a shill being involved in this auction.
