is the grading on this card ok??

Do a search on this forum for BCCG which is who this is graded by - it's a division of Beckett but don't get them confused with BGS grading.
 
Also the seller isn't the greatest guy in the world dealing in fake and counterfeit cards remember and still has action pending against them.

I'd stay clear of bccg AND buying of these guys.
 
I brought off of Terry Boyd just a few weeks back, no problems with my transaction.

IMO the card is legit, as is the grading/slab. But if you're just after the RC, then go for it, if you're after a Gem 10 Mint one, don't get it. Cos the grade's not with the case it's slabbed in.
 
The card is legit. I too Mavs have bought from him with no troubles. But I have not bought condition sensitive cards either like the MJ Star xrc.
Until I have issues i'll buy if the price is right.
 
i have bought from him in the past and they were also graded by this company. the cards are great and i liked the prices, it was just that the grading writing looked very cheap and done with a cheap printer.
 
Just remember the general rule is that BCCG grades are 2 points over graded. BCCG 10 is a BGS 8 or so. They rarely if ever get it right and its not aimed at real collectors.
