id probably only pay $20-25K, and even then, i just wouldn't risk it for such a high price. if im buying those kind of cards for that sort of price, i wanna do it face to face.

if i had that amount of money, i wouldn't get the whole set, i would just get these players:

lebron james, carmelo anthony, darko milicic, chris bosh, dwyane wade, josh howard, chris kaman, luke ridnour, udonis haslem, boris diaw

i'd use the rest of the money to get some MJ's and other Lebron's!

The WHOLE set would be priceless in a generation or two, when (hopefully) these youngsters have a ring or MVP or something.

Buying just some of the players would not be as valueable.

You could spend $10US on each of those to get slabbed, if you had the guts, and then what would you get in return??? I'd hate to imagine.

BUT... of course, they could all amount to nothing, and in return, you'd have spent ya $$.... But at that price, I'm suprised it's still there. $34,000US.....
