Are people finding it frustrating to finalise trades / sales lately?

Recently I have continually had to ask for the following:
1. Acknowlegement that a card or cards have arrived.
2. Replies to trade threads to state a card or cards have arrived.
3. Acknowlegement that payment has been received.
4. Replies to trade threads to state money / payment has been received.
5. Feedback.

If I have done a trade with you recently don't automaticly think I am referring to you, this is an observation I have made over the last year and is becoming more and more frustrating to deal with.

I close trades / sales VERY often without the other party bothering to reply to the trade / sale thread......sure it can be done and feedback generally proves the item has been received but it sure does tidy up things nicely for proof of receipt.

To anyone who reads this; If you have done a trade or sale with someone don't leave them hanging once you have received your end of the deal, get online and send them a quick PM to let them know.

up until recently i was not aware that you "closed off'' the transaction thread, i would leave feedback as soon as i got the item, but didnt know that you closed off, this has been rectified on my behalf from now on...

I agree, I'm sick of having to remind people to leave feedback, you would think out of courtesy, if someone has left it for you, you should return the favor!

yeah agree as well I leave feedback on every deal I do as soon as I recieve the card/s or if Im selling cards to someone I leave them feedback as soon as payment has cleared, I have left feedback for every deal I have done on OZcard, Im still waiting on feedback for multipul trade and sales, Iv sent one member about 4 or 5 pm saying leave feedback for our deal and I will complete the deal, hes been online since but I guess hes to lazy or to busy to take 5 seconds out of his hectic life to leave me some feedback.

yeah fair enough mate, u have a point. but some people arent too aware of editiing threads and etc. or dont get online much cos their personal doings. but if i became a bit more easier or user friendly (even though it becomes that when u first do it a couple times and get used to it), but its happenin now and i think it's always gonna happen.

agreed... frustrating and damn annoying

i gave up a while ago, its mostly the newer members who arent used to doing it regularly me thinks... us old stagers seem to tow the company line

Yeah it can be a problem sending multiple messages about feedback when you know the person is online and still doing trades,hope I haven't forgot to leave feedback for anyone,nah,should be done when you get your cards or $$$.

Agreed. I try and always post the same day as I receive the payment, which I feel is holding up my end of a deal. It is not hard to reply to a trade or pm to let the seller know that the cards arrived ok.

waaaaaaaaaaaah..
well guys im a new member and i will say straight out that i havnt read all the fine print on how to use this forum, but ive popped questions to mods and other members asking for help on these subjects like leaving feedback which i worked out myself, and also closing a thread after the deal is finished and few other questions that the forum dosnt tell you bout, mods never got back to me , anyways i can say that the site hasnt been the most user freindly, so be a bit patient with new members as some take longer to learn than others.

just my 2 cents....

If you take 30 secs to do a search, you will see there are threads already explaining how to close a thread and how to leave feedback. Probably why the mods didn't get back to you!

Plus they are pretty busy

That said, my beef isn't with Noobs, I can understand a bit of "What do I do again" going on with them

I guess I am just over having to nag people to update Trade Threads, leave Feedback or even tell me if they got their card! Some people think it's all over when they get their end of the bargain and forget the rest......this is what I find annoying!

Yep, I am the number one person who waits till I am ready to leave feedback.

Its a built in flaw as I just cant be stuffed leaving feedback right away, and I am also someone who never asks for feedback except in the beginning so I can get over 10.

I don't blame people for getting frustrated for not getting it 10 seconds after the package has been opened. There are many great arguments why you wish to get it and they are all valid.

Because of this, I am going to take a different view to this. I have decided that I am going to write a novel for your feedback, there are some traders here who are easy going, just don't bother with the dramas of trading, then there are some that are complete ASSH@LES that need to be kicked in the bum. I will now go into detail on how much of a MORON they are, though the goods are solid, the dealings with them was just down right stupid.

Listen, I am one who needs the kick in the bum. Point well taken and will take care of my side from now on. I dont take it as a personal attack though some of the people here that responded to this post I owe feedback too. I will make sure you get it tonight as you deserve.

But Richo is right as its been a bad trend by a few of us including myself and I feel we need to work better with one another so we can make this system of trading a bit better for all.
