hi guys as you all no i think im pretty easy to deal with and love love love OCT, the last few months ive been on blowout card forum and still to make a deal with anyone, ive had a few members there say there is no way in the world im shipping to Australia as i cant be trusted..... well that comment pissed me off but there has been other cases of members on there that wont even return my pms...... is this normal or have i just come across some very insensitive members ? just wondering if any of you guys have had back luck like me on there? i really enjoy going on there BUT this is the place to be were in my eyes everyone is treated the same ... let me no your thoughts thanks again kristan and no nuts timba

I've found being Aussie on that and a few other US forums seems to make me feel like a lower class citizen. I'm pretty much done with another trading card forum except for this one.
Another thing I've noticed on US forums is that it's much harder to deal in NBA as opposed to say NFL

Blowout houses some of the most idiotic, hypocritical, nonsense-spewing, trollbags the internet has ever seen. It also seems quite riddled with scammers and ignorant people.
However, it also has some great members and is the most active site I'm a member of - I'm basically there all day...
People don't like (aka are too ignorant/scared) to even think about international transactions, especially when so many of them are getting screwed by locals, or just think that everyone outside of the good ol' US is a scumbag...
So don't be offended, just be friendly and try to get some deals done. Just tell them they're covered by paypal if they're buying, or to ship registered/express if selling/trading. They might not be willing to send first and if that's the case the safest thing is to suggest a middle-man, such as one of the mods (eg iluvfish2) - for you to both ship to. It'll cost more but could be worth the peace of mind.

Picked up some nice PC stuff there and some sweet deals. As a 99% NFL collector I found it to be a great place. Never had an issue, however I have had a forwarding US addy the whole time and no one has a problem shipping so maybe it is because you want them to ship to Australia. Use the COMC mailbox, that thing is a saviour... just bought a cpl of lots for cheap from blowout and going to try and flip em on COMC so I'll see how I go. Prob done 12 deals there and a few case shares and 100% happy so far. Had every PM and thread post replied to as well and haven't come across a single time waster (yet), which is a nice change..... I like how the prices are a requirement in sell threads as well - makes it so much easier as a buyer

I know what you mean , I haven't even attempted to trade/buy/sell there , but the ignorance is thick .
Pity they don't realise the scammers are mainly US ( locals ) and Asian Countries ( China Mainly ), I mean admitting 95% of the hobbies scammers reside in good ol US of A is an afterthought so the rather stick to scamming each other than dealing internationally lol.
Here look through the scam call out section 98% of Good old Americans giving it to each other so what do they do take it out by thinking it's Internationals that are the scammers when they seem to love scamming each other , i just sit back a laugh at some of the crap that spews from these guy's.

Granted there are some good ones out of the bunch , but it's like that on most of the US site's HK isn't as Bad though .
