Is BCCG Just Careless With Grading

I've still never understood what criteria these guys use for their grading...

This card is clearly not a 10...

Bottom right corner has a little mark, the top right corner of the GU piece looks horrible, and the Auto is not centered....

Or am I being too picky???

They would grade a business card if you sent it in ;)

BCCG are the (very) poor cousin of BGS. Someone disagreed with me when I told them the majority of cards get graded 9's and 10's (and there's more 10's than 9's). Make up your own mind from that !

can't see the corners but that Devin auto is definately off centre, but be happy if you own it ;)

just received a BCCG 10 today (Bogut UD RC Debut parallel /100)
and here it is :)

But if you read the panel, it does qualify the 10 as being "Mint or better", which clearly would mean anything GemMt/Pristine would be graded say 12 to 15 on their scale (out of 10).

i am beginning to wonder if BCCG even have labels less than 10? has anyone ever seen one? i only ever see 10 graded cards on ebay

You will find one of these under EVERY graders desk at BCCG.

Correction, that is the grader and they'll be a small 1 of those bobbing birds that keeps hitting the enter button to print the '10' labels before it is dropped into a production line which stamps the slab closed!

well, BCCG is not entirely grading company from BGS.. it's authentication and verification..

Beckett announced that BCCG holder is just a matter of authenticity of the card.. not really the condition of the card.. BCCG is introduced at much lower cost... so, everyone can verify their cards.. now, they even have a sticker verification on beckett...

hope that helps

Thats a pile of doggy doo from the above dog. They marketed bccg as grading for kids that didn't want to spend as much as those that use BCG. They marketed it as a grading co and now they have become a laughing stock they claim that. If they don't grade the cards condition then whey do they put a grade out of 10 for its condition??

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

BCCG 10 is equivalent to about BGS 7.5 or 8 and above.

It is cheap and is probably only usful if you wanted a card slabbed.

well if bccg is only an authenticating company then people who claim a bccg10 is the same as a bgs 7.5 are well wide of the mark. the two dont even relate in anyway.

i always wondered why anyone would go with bccg, as from the site it seems the same price as bgs
