Being an Ebay seller for over 8 years, I'm very sensitive to "reputation", since I feel it can make or break you in this card collecting community. I continually bark at those guys who try sneaky measures to sell their cards by sliding in one of those fake MJ rookie cards. I'm a pain in their backsides because I'm constantly questioning them about the cards and pointing out why I know it's a fake.

Anyway, the reason I've been inspired to write this thread is to point out that we all have to be careful in our purchases and who we purchase from. Even I, with thousands of transactions on Ebay, got took by a dishonest seller recently. He's " JAXSON1968 ". His auction was for 400 Michael Jordan cards. What I received was 85 MJ cards, with the rest being trash commons of other players from the early 90's. If you look him up, you'll find that he has a horrible feedback record in only a few months.

The point - do good research before making any sizeable purchase. Most of the dealers you will do business with will be honest people doing honest trading. However, the bad ones still lurk out there, just waiting to take advantage of an uniformed or inexperienced buyer.

Have a great collecting day!!
